• Sapwood: Whitish.

• Heartwood: Light yellowish-brown. It has numerous fine brown streaks.

• The grain is slightly interlocked. It contains resin deposits. It may cause skin irritation.

Impregnation

• Heartwood: Poorly permeable.

Mechanization

• Sawing: Difficulties due to the grain.

• Gluing: No problems.

• Nailing and screwing: Some difficulties.
