Description of the wood
• Sapwood: Greyish white.
• Heartwood: Reddish brown to pinkish brown.
• Fiber: Straight, usually slightly intertwined.
• Grain: Medium to coarse.
Impregnation
• Sapwood: Little impregnable
• Heartwood: Non-impregnable
Mechanization
• Sawing: Easy, except that it has oils that can cause allergies.
• Drying: Medium to fast speed. Slight risks to means of deformations and the appearance of fendas.
• Planning: It has the problem of repelling, due to the frequency of the interlocking fiber.
• Gluing: No difficulties.
• Nailing and screwing: No difficulties.
• Finish: Without difficulties, except when oil stains occur, in which case it should be sought to eliminate them by means of a solvent.

• Furniture and fine cabinetry of interior and exterior.
• Interior carpentry, doors, cladding, mouldings, skirting boards, friezes.
• Decorative veneers and plywood.
