• Sapwood and heartwood: Pinkish beige to pinkish brown.
• Grain: Straight, sometimes slightly interlocked.
• Texture: Fine.

• Sawing: Easy, except for the silica content, which causes rapid wear on saw blades and allergic reactions.
• Drying: Medium to fast drying speed. Minor risk of warping and cracking.

• Nailing and screwing: No difficulties.
