The Tulipier is a woody, lush, light colored, highly valued for its lightness, its dimensional stability and its excellent workability. Presents a shade that varies between the creamy white and the greenish-yellow, with streaks smooth and uniform texture, what makes it especially suitable for smooth finishes and varnishes. Its grain is straight, though occasionally may be slightly interlocked grain, and the grain is fine to medium.
