Its color ranges from yellowish-brown to reddish – brown , with pinkish-white sapwood. It has a straight or tightly interlocked grain , giving it a robust appearance and great dimensional stability. It is a wood particularly suitable for applications requiring maximum durability and reliability against the elements.
